Doesn't it just make your day when one of these lovely creatures comes to visit? There was one in my little crab apple this morning. It's been raining for the past hour or so - a welcome change from the hot, humid air that was sitting before the slow-moving front coming in from the northwest. The greens in the landscape outside my window are brightened, and the contrast between the bluegrass and redtop is heightened. I love everything about summer except for the heat!
