Today seems to be bird day. About noon, an Indigo Bunting sat down on the deck and then proceeded to move to the railing, where he sat for about ten minutes as we watched him. The only blue that comes anywhere near the brilliant, wonderful color of the Indigo Bunting, in my opinion, is the bellamosa. I had seen one only once before and for such a short glimpse that I have sometimes wondered if I had only imagined it. But no. This was exactly the same. |
