...I was awakened by the most beautiful sound in the world -- raindrops falling gently and steadily from a sky of such a liquid blue that it quenched all thirst. (I know this sounds odd, but the clouds must have been directly overhead.) Goldfinches flocked to the thistle feeder in gleaming hosts before the rain set in in earnest. The world's colors are bright in the azure light. Ahh!
