In front of an Etruscan Tomb at Orvieto, Italy I'm Ed Lemon I retired in 2003, after teaching German at the Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Massachusetts for 25 years. While primarily teaching all levels of German, I also taught Russian, French, Latin and Linguistics. In 2005 the Northfield campus was closed and the school was relocated to the Mount Hermon campus in Gill, Massachusetts. Previously I taught German and Linguistics at Windham College (now, alas, only a memory) and Germanic Philology at the University of Massachusetts. I love hearing from former students! See my new e-mail address below. After 25 years of living in Northfield, my wife Pat and I moved to scenic Warwick, Massachusetts, just 2.5 miles to the east of the middle of nowhere. Pat was recently elected to the town Board of Selectmen (now the Selectboard), where she serves as Chair. I volunteered to put up the town's website, which keeps me pretty busy as well. I still do consulting in topics concerned with education and computing. Now that I'm retired, I've been able to devote more time to my other interests and hobbies:
